Uberrime Divo Dual-Density Review

When I first received my large dual-density Divo from Uberrime I was a bit skeptical because it was more firm than I expected. I know I said my Splendid from Uberrime was more firm than other dual-density dildos I own but the Uberrime Divo is even more firm than that. It still has a soft outer layer, and firm inner core, giving it a distinctly dual-density feeling, but it actually feels more like its human counterpart, in my opinion, with just a small sprinkle of exaggeration. The head is still rather plush and squishy at the tip, and the overall outer layer does squish, but right away I could tell that it was going to hold up well to more pressure. The firmness made me question if the texture would feel too extreme for me though. Appearance wise, I was absolutely in love. I am a big fan of foreskins, so the bundled foreskin is a dream come true, and while the underside of a dildo can often be overlooked the Divo has ridges and a subtly bulging corpus spongiosum to really top it all off. It’s like realism dialed up, to be slightly exaggerated, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

If you’ve been around my blog before it’s no secret that I deal with chronic pain, and part of that chronic pain is always in my pelvic area and vaginal canal. This has made me very passionate about sex toys, and about my pleasure overall, because my pain robs me of so much in life. Masturbation is one of the only ways I can get some pain relief and sex toys are a big part of that for me. Sometimes they’re used as aids during a vulva/vaginal massage to help release overly tight tension knots and muscles and sometimes during masturbation for the flood and release of chemicals it brings, and also just adding more pleasure to my life; because we all deserve more pleasure. The past couple months have been exceptionally hard on me, pain wise; many days have been spent in bed, and I haven’t been able to do a lot for myself. So despite my skepticism about the Divo’s firmness I was very much looking forward to putting it through the ringer of testing.

The very first time I used the Divo I was blown out of the water. That firmness I was hesitant about? It was perfect. I have historically leaned toward more plush dildos for a few a couple of reasons. One: I used to deal with a lot of yeast infections so my skin was very, very fragile. Two: I dealt with a lot of toxic, shitty toys in the past that were not only genuinely too firm for their textures, but also caused chemical burns. I thought I had gotten over those past experiences and it wasn’t still influencing my toy selections and judgements but leave it to an Uberrime dildo to once again teach me new things about myself. Now, of course, I never review toys off just one use so it has been through many more trials.

I’ve stated in the past that texture and I don’t always get along, and while that’s still true it comes down mainly to my urethra, and my body’s lack of ability to sometimes produce adequate lubrication. I can obviously fix the lubrication issue by using lube, but if a toy is textured in a way where the texture is going to be rubbing against my urethra no matter the length of my strokes it’s likely to not work super well for me. This is an anatomy specific issue for me but it’s not one I am alone in. My urethra gets rubbed against my pubic bone already during most penetration so adding in too much texture is a very unpleasant experience. However, that wasn’t something I was concerned about with the Divo when selecting it, because the most textured parts of it are on the upper portion that will be stuffed deep inside me most of the time.

The silicone of the Divo is matte-like but when wet with lubricant or vaginal fluids it glides very smoothly. Some silicone sex toys can have a clingy, and uncomfortable dragging feel no matter how much lubrication is used but that is not an issue with the Divo. The texture on the lower half of the dildo, the area that interacts most often with my urethra and vaginal-opening is just veins, and while they’re very visually appealing, they aren’t distinct enough to feel like a lot in use. This is not a bad thing for me! It’s just enough to not feel like a completely smooth and uniform rod, but it’s subtle enough to not become an irritant while thrusting. Even though the dual-density is a bit more firm on the Divo it’s still very prominent and distinct from a single-density dildo, and I highly recommend it if you’re undecided between the two.

When I slide the Divo inside myself, the well-shaped head, prominent corona, and textured, bundled foreskin send me into the telltale bodily flushed feeling of arousal right away. Once the silicone fully warms up to my body temperature and I begin thrusting in earnest, all of my hot spots are stimulated perfectly at once. The ribs of the foreskin rub over my urethral sponge while the head pushes against my cervix and stimulates my A-spot with pressure. I am someone who places cervical stimulation far above G-spot stimulation but this dildo pleasures all of my spots at once like a partner that has spent the time getting to know my body and its desires very intimately. I can clench around this perfectly-crafted silicone cock while bashing my cervix and vaginal fornices to my heart’s content, and actually get to enjoy texture for once. The bundled foreskin is exaggerated beyond what human skin does in the sense it doesn’t move, making it more prominent in use. It creates the most delicious friction against my urethral sponge that is also accentuated by the corona, rather I’m thrusting in, or pulling out.

Large Divo compared to medium Splendid

The size of the Divo I chose (large), and the firmness that it’s imbued with are also ideal for stimulating my vestibular bulbs while I am clenching around it. The vaginal opening is already full of sensitive nerve-endings, and if I am using a toy on the slightly larger size it presses on all of this erect tissue, bringing me even more pleasure. While I am clenching on the Divo and using long thrusts the corona of the head sticks just behind my pubic bone, stopping it from pulling out all of the way (unless I intentionally use enough force) and while this may be uncomfortable with certain sex toys it only adds to the sensations here.

It is truly wild to me how very quickly into any session with the Divo I am on the verge of orgasm because of how expertly it stimulates multiple erogenous points at once. I can clench, and use sharp intense thrusts right against my cervix and let the texture work on my urethral sponge. I can use long thrusts and drive my body into an all consuming hot and tingling pleasure that makes me feel like I am going to combust. Or I can push it deep, letting my body circlude the dick entirely, twisting it back and forth, thrusting just very minimally while all of my walls do their best to crush the silicone into oblivion. And every single one of these ways is going to have me ready to explode. I intentionally edge myself over and over so my brain will send all the pain-relieving hormones to my body in abundance and I can simply luxuriate in the feeling of pleasure for as long as possible, reaching a state beyond this plane of existence. Sometimes I am a multi-orgasmic person, but I often prefer to just edge repeatedly for super strong orgasms, in case once I come down my body is once again in too much pain for me to continue.

The only way the Divo isn’t fully perfect for me is it’s a little too firm for me to prop the base on the bed beneath me, have it oriented upward, and still clench around (the firmness makes it spring out of place). There are times when I am wanking where I am not thrusting my dildos but prefer to just prop them in place and clench and grind on them because my pain leads my arms and hands to get fatigued a lot easier than they used to. However, I can simply turn the Divo downward, so it’s oriented backwards and prop the base against my bed during these moments and still satisfyingly clench and rock against it. This isn’t a losing scenario for me either because my cervix still gets a lot of love, and my posterior fornix gets to receive some more targeted stimulation. I do miss the friction of the foreskin against my front wall slightly, but then I get to feel the bulging underside press into my front wall instead. Orienting the dildo “backwards” like this while I am thrusting is also fun if I have a butt plug inserted, because then the textured foreskin catches and rubs on that through my walls, adding to the variety. The base is easy to hold onto while thrusting, and the brand insignia on it is helpful for orientation.

I think at this point it’s safe to say my Splendid will be getting some much needed rest while the Divo takes over for a while, because the larger size, and more precise stimulation are everything I had been wanting in an upgrade. The Divo has been an immense highlight in my life while I have been going through worsening pain, allowing me to experience pleasure and joy in my own way, on my own time. There are a lot of voices and institutions in this world that don’t want to see people experience pleasure and joy just for the sake of them, but it’s our right to have these things in our lives so seek it out wherever and whenever you can.

I chose the large, dual-density Divo, which is a total of 8 inches, 7 of which are insertable. The head is an impressive 1.91 inches wide, and the shaft 1.8 inches wide. If these dimensions don’t sound like a good fit for your body but you’re still intrigued about the Divo’s shape and details, fear not, Uberrime also offers it in a small and medium size in dual-density. If you’re more of a single silicone density person you’re also in luck! The Divo can be had in four sizes: extra small, small, medium, and large all in your choice of density and color, and the medium and large also have a port option! And I don’t know if you’re aware or not but Uberrime pours some very gorgeous silicone, just check out their Insta and YouTube channel if you need to see examples, or want inspiration.

Thank you to Uberrime for sending me the Divo in exchange for a fair and honest review. *Affiliate links were used in this post. All writings and opinions are my own.
